Meet the Owner

Hello! I’m Irina Lombardo, the owner and founder of Porvana Arts & Crafts Supplies. My artistic journey has spanned most of my life, and I hold college degrees in both sculpting and graphic design. I began my career by creating corporate identities, which involved designing logos, labels, and packaging for both emerging and established companies. For the past 25 years, I’ve worked as a freelance illustrator, creating greeting cards, children’s books, yard flags, and murals. One of my most memorable projects was applying my artwork to a Stratocaster guitar for Fender Musical Instruments in honor of the Stratocaster’s 50th anniversary. As a freelance artist, I have used many types of materials. I’ve also had to work within a budget in order to insure a profit. My ultimate goal in starting Porvana Arts & Crafts Supplies is to provide both professional artists and hobbyists with high-quality products that they can afford. 🎨✨Please feel free to visit my online portfolio at www.lombardoart.com

Concord Direct has worked with Irina for nearly a decade, and over that time her art has been highly sought after by many of our clients for use on their Christmas and Easter cards. Irina’s ability to capture iconic religious themes using bold colors, soft features and intricately fine details that jump off the page has made her art stand out in our field, and led her to become our go to artist for religious art. Irina has always been a pleasure to work with and is very responsive to inquiries.

Irina Lombardo, a gifted artist, was commissioned by Fender Musical Instruments to ornate a Stratocaster guitar in honor of the Stratocaster’s 50 th anniversary. The end result was nothing less than extraordinary. The guitar received the name
“Wind Song” and is now not only a quality musical instrument in its own right but also a fabulous work of art.

We have used Irina’s religious artwork quite a bit over the past few years for our Christmas and Easter cards, and it is absolutely beautiful. The traditional style is carefully crafted and well received by our donors. We will continue to use these classic pieces for years to come!
